Sixteen Seconds Before Collapse

from Wafting Magic by Occurrences In Rain

/

about

Guitar, flute, percussion, field recordings, Kawai K1M and various effects. Made using UbuntuStudio...This piece began as a set of guitar drones, flute and percussion. These were mixed down as a completed piece. This was then copied, with one of the copies slowed down by 75%, and the other reversed, then slowed down by 25%. These were then stacked on top of each other. After that, several copies of a field recording of a commercial greenhouse window motor (recorded by Robin Saville, and made available through The FreeSound Project) were laid on top, at varying positions. Half of these were reversed, and all were slowed down by 35%. Finally we added some additional K1 drones.
